Mission Statement
To develop urban agriculture programs providing fresh produce and educating students of all ages about farming practices through hydroponics, soil gardens, and other permaculture practices for the benefit of the community.
Urban Agriculture
Urban farms based within cities and near schools help promote a local food system. Creating local food systems can help reduce the amount of pesticides, herbicides, and chemical growth hormones that infect so much of our food supply.
Community Based
Community is the driving force behind the Bossman Roots Foundation to create a vision for a better tomorrow. Working alongside community members, schools, and local businesses, together we can better our communities.
Fresh Veggies!
Fresh veggies like lettuce, basil, cucumber, kale, and so much more can be grown in a local, urban environment. By producing local farms that grow this, and other, delicious produce, the people within the community can enjoy healthier, fresher, more sustainable food.
